Some angry youths on Saturday denied some politicians travelling in convoy with their orderlies access to a road in their community.
A source told SaharaReporters that the incident happened along Sapele Road, Benin City, Edo State and that the politicians tried to bypass bad roads and through the community as an alternative route.
Footage seen by SaharaReporters on Sunday revealed that the youths obstructed the road with wooden benches, containers and other objects.
When the security operatives alighted from their vans with sirens barring, the youths stood their ground.
One of the youths said, “Make una shoot the gun. Shoot the gun!”
