I’m a supporter of polygyny, But there is one thing Islam frowns against, is the display of public affection of one wife over another. This is the sin most muslim men are guilty of, always showing off the new wife to the detriment of the 1st wife. It’s okay to announce to the world you have taken a new wife, but it should end there and everything else should be private, regardless of the social status of the new wife. Kazim must make it clear to Mercy , that although she’s a public figure, she cannot be displaying their romantic gestures on social media , it is rude, offensive and derogatory to the 1st wife and her family.
