Buhari Arrives In Nasarawa For Two-day Official Visit

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Nasarawa State for a two-day official visit.
 
The President, who came in helicopter 5N-FG2 arrived at about 10 am at the Nasarawa State airport, Lafia.



Buhari was received by the host governor, Abdulahi Sule, the governors of Kogi and Kebbi states, Yahaya Bello and Atiku Bagudu respectively as well as the deputy governor of Benue state among others.
 
He is expected to commission some projects such as the new Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) building and a mini power transmission station.
 
Meanwhile, SaharaReporters learnt that security had been beefed up in the state, with the military, police and others manning checkpoints and patrolling to ensure the President or anyone in his entourage does not come to any harm.
