Officials of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), Anambra State Command, in collaboration with Nigeria Immigration Service Anambra State Command, on Wednesday May 11, arrested a suspected male human trafficker and rescued the female victim. The suspect who resides in Onitsha, In conjunction with his syndicates based in Edo state and Dubai respectively, lured the victim from Edo state to Anambra state. The suspect was arrested at the immigration office while he was trying to procure a Nigerian passport for the victim to be trafficked to Dubai with.
