A motor boy working as an apprentice with a trailer driver has been hospitalised following an accident in Ogbomoso in Oyo State. A petrol-laden tanker, on Saturday afternoon, March 16, skidded and fell as it tried to negotiate the Takie roundabout in Ogbomoso. The apprentice’s leg was crushed in the accident. He has been taken to Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Teaching Hospital in Ogbomoso. An operative of Oyo State Road Transport Management Agency, ORTMA, who asked not to be named, confirmed the development. He said, One of the motor boys had one of his legs crushed in the accident but had been taken to LAUTECH Teaching Hospital.
