Dr. Doyin Okupe, Former Presidential Aide Passes Away at 72

Dr. Doyin Okupe, a Nigerian political figure, has died at the age of 72 after he reportedly had a long battle with cancer.

Okupe served as a presidential aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan and was a spokesperson for the Labour Party.

Family sources confirm that Okupe’s health deteriorated significantly in recent weeks before his death.

According to reports, Okupe was first diagnosed with prostate cancer 16 years ago and later developed sarcoma in his right shoulder.

He had a long-standing career as a political strategist and spokesman for various parties.
