The Nigeria Navy said its personnel of Forward operating base Ibaka has arrested three suspected drug peddlers in Akwa Ibom State.
The Navy in a statement disclosed that the suspects were arrested for possession of Indian hemp in Ibaka Mbo Local Government Area of the state on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
The suspects have been handed over to relevant authorities for further investigation.
“On Saturday 29 March 2025, Forward Operating Base IBAKA apprehended 3 suspected drug peddlers in possession of a large quantity of Indian hemp in Ibaka Mbo LGA, Akwa Ibom State,” the statement read.
“The suspects are in custody and would be handed over to relevant authorities.”
