Court Bars Senator Natasha Akpoti, Akpabio, Others from Public Comments on Suspension Case

The Federal High Court in Abuja, presided over by Justice Binta Nyako, has issued a restraining order barring all parties involved in Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension case from making public statements or granting media interviews.

The order applies to Akpoti-Uduaghan, her legal team, members of the 10th National Assembly, and media commentators. The case was reassigned to Justice Nyako after Justice Egwuatu recused himself.

The court also consolidated all preliminary objections with the main suit and scheduled the next hearing for May 12, 2025.
