The much-anticipated English Language Skills Challenge between Nigerian, Ifedayo Johnson (@ifedayo_johnson) and Briton @BasedNorthmathr now has a date.

According to Ifedayo’s official post, the showdown is scheduled for Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 7:45 PM (WAT). The event will be hosted live on Twitter Space, with screen sharing enabled so viewers can watch the duo take the test in real time.

“Let’s get this done and make a statement,” he wrote — confirming the intellectual duel will be a spirited yet respectful display of linguistic prowess.

Further details, including the test format and participation modalities, will be shared in due time. The Twitter Space will soon go live for reminders to be set, and supporters are encouraged to reach out via DM.
