Dr. Abel Damina Responds to Benue Massacre, Urges Leaders to Take Immediate Action

Lead pastor of Power City International, Dr. Abel Damina, has spoken out following the recent massacre in Benue State, where over 200 Christians were brutally killed in a single night.

The coordinated attacks, which targeted families and communities, have been described as one of the darkest moments in recent memory.

In a video statement released on his official ministry platform, Dr. Damina did not mince words in describing the atrocity, offering both spiritual and moral clarity.

He said:

“The massacre in Benue State, over 200 precious lives lost in one night, is an atrocity that no conscience can ignore. Families burned alive, children slain in their sleep. This is not a conflict; it is genocide.

To our leaders, NOW is the time for real protection, swift justice, reinforced security, and accountability. You were elected to safeguard your people, not to watch them perish.

As pastors, we mourn, we pray, and we demand that the blood of the innocent be met with righteous action.

May God grant Benue justice and end this reign of terror.”
