A 40-year-old woman who tested positive to COVID-19, was delivered of a baby girl by a team of doctors at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) today April 27.
According to a post on LUTH’s twitter handle, the baby girl who was delivered by a team of doctors comprising anaesthetists and nurses, weighed 3.3kg and is said to be in good health.
”A team of LUTH Drs, anaesthetists and nurses delivered a woman with COVID-19 of a baby girl this afternoon. 40yr old mother and 3.3kg baby are doing fine. Our gratitude goes to these gallant men & women & all warriors making the nation proud in the face of this scourge.” the tweet read
