BREAKING: Gunshots Rock Lagos As Two Factions Of Road Transport Union, NURTW Clash Over Ticket Collection

There were gunshots on Thursday morning as factions of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) allegedly clashed in Agbado area of the Alimosho Local Government Area in Lagos State.

The clash was said to have started on Friday morning, leaving people who were heading for work scampering for safety.

Some property was said to have been vandalised and movement restricted in the area.

This comes a few days after some members of the union clashed in the Obalende area of the state.

The clash left two persons dead and paralysed commercial activities in the area for hours until a police team restored peace.
