#EndSARS was one of the craziest moments of my life – Falz

Rapper and activist Falz has described the 2020 #EndSARS protests as one of the most intense periods of his life.

Speaking at the #WithChude Live show in Lagos, Falz said the protests were mentally and emotionally draining, but he has no regrets. “I was taught never to regret doing what I believe is right,” he said. “The connection we all felt—it was monumental.”

Falz emphasized that his activism is driven by compassion and humanity, not applause or recognition. He also acknowledged his father, human rights lawyer Femi Falana, as a major influence.

Through music and advocacy, Falz has continued to speak out against injustice and police brutality in Nigeria.
