Veteran Yoruba actress Jumoke George has reunited with her 41-year-old daughter, Adeola, who was found in Mali after being missing for four years.

The emotional update was shared on Instagram by actress and Talk To B show host, Biola Bayo, who played a key role in bringing the story to light.

She wrote, “VICTORY AT LAST! ADEOLA IS FINALLY BACK HOME

“I just want to say thank you to everyone that helped, I couldn’t have done this without your supports. Thank you Nigerians.

“Thank you to my dearest mummy Honorable Abike Dabiri abikedabiri

“Thank you to miss Yakubu Oyiza Hope #lunaoyiza

“Thank you to my dear brother #adeniyijohnson less”

Adeolaโ€™s return was also earlier on Monday confirmed by Chairperson of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, who disclosed that Adeola had been trafficked to Mali.

She wrote, โ€œBreaking! Adeola, daughter of popular actress Jumoke George, who cried out that she had not heard from her daughter in four years, is back home from Mali, where she was trafficked.โ€

Recall that the veteran actress had opened up in an emotional interview on how she started living in a church six years ago while battling illness and the heartbreak of a missing child.

Speaking in tears on the TalkToB show hosted by fellow actress Abiola Adebayo, Jumoke said she hid her predicament out of shame and fear of public ridicule.

The veteran actress explained that her health began to deteriorate earlier this year, which forced her to cancel scheduled acting jobs.

She said, โ€œThere are some things that are embarrassing to say, but at this point, I have no choice. I want to speak out. I am working, but itโ€™s not like I get jobs every time.

โ€œMy first child, Adeola, has been missing. Iโ€™ve been looking for her for the past four years. Any small amount of money I got from work was spent looking for her.

โ€œShe was in Ibadan, where she was working and living with my mother. So my mother just called me one day to say that she hadnโ€™t seen Deola, who said she was coming to meet me in Lagos. I said I havenโ€™t seen her.โ€

She disclosed that Adeola, however, called one day to beg for forgiveness and informed her that she had migrated with some friends in search of a better life, but they had encountered something different.

Meanwhile, Dabiri commended Actress Bola Adebayo for breaking the story about the veteran actressโ€™ daughter and actor Niyi Johnson.

โ€œJust received her, with Biola Adebayo, who broke the story, and Niyi Johnson. Details later!โ€
