16 members of a family allegedly burnt to death in Kaduna

Sixteen members of the same family were allegedly burnt to death by bandits who invaded Bakali village in Fatika District, Giwa Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Tuesday February 11th.

Eyewitnesses say the bandits stormed the community at about 4pm, setting everything in their sight including bags of grains, vehicles and motorcycles, on fire.

A resident of the community said the bandits who were over 100 in number, locked up the 16 members of the same family in a room and set fire to the house. 

The state police command is yet to react to the incident.
