The last five Coronavirus patients in Zamfara state have been discharged after recovering from the disease.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Friday May 29, Zamfara has recorded a total of 71 recoveries and five deaths.
The state which recorded its first Coronavirus case in April 24, 2020, announced on Saturday May 30, that with its latest discharge, it longer has any active case of COVID-19.
Zamfara which had the 17th highest figure of confirmed cases of the disease, is now the second state after Kebbi to have no active COVID-19 case.
