Illiyasu Sa’idu Dundubus, a former speaker of Jigawa state house of assembly is dead.
The state assembly’s spokesperson, Babangida Hadejia made the announcement and also disclosed that the late speaker who served between 2000 and 2003 in the administration of a former governor Saminu Turaki, died while receiving treatment in Zaria, Kaduna State on Wednesday October 14.
Dunbubus was described as a strong lawmaker who during his time was committed to the independence of the legislative arm.
