Super Eagles legend, Finidi George turns 50 years old today and his former club teammates at Ajax made a tribute video to wish him a happy birthday.
In the 3 minutes, 38 seconds video posted on the official AFC Ajax Twitter account, football icons like Patrick Kluivert, Edwin van dar Saar, Frank De Boer, Marc Overmars, Marco van Basten among others sent their wishes including former coach Louis Van Gaal.
Finidi won three league titles, two Dutch Super Cups, the UEFA Champions League (UCL), UEFA Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup with Ajax.
He who retired from football in 2004, was an important player of the Super Eagles of Nigeria team during the 1990s. He appeared in two World Cups including at USA 1994, where he scored a lovely goal against Greece.
