Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is being placed on the league’s reserve/COVID-19 list and will miss Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions, the team announced Saturday night.
Mason Rudolph will start for the 5-3 Steelers, who host the winless Lions.
Roethlisberger recently said during an interview with the Dan Patrick Show that he is vaccinated, meaning it is possible he could return for next Sunday night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
