BREAKING: Many Feared Dead As Gas Explosion Rocks Lagos

There are indications that some unspecified number of persons might have been killed in a gas explosion that occurred at Ojekunle Street, Papa Ajao Lagos State on Tuesday.

The incident which happened around 8am on Tuesday has triggered panic in the area, The Nation reports.



While the cause of explosion could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report, officials of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), NEMA and Fire Service are currently trying to put it out.

The exact number of casualties could not yet be determined as the emergency workers carried on with their response.
