Ex-President Of Nigerian Musicians’ Association, PMAN, Rosiji Is Dead

A former President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, Bolaji Rosiji, is dead.

Rosiji died in Lagos on Sunday at a hospital after a brief illness. 



SaharaReporters learnt that he died of prostate cancer at Lagoon Hospital in Ikoyi. 

A statement on Tuesday by Olayemi Esan, spokesperson for Gaurapad Charities, a foundation established by Rosiji to help the needy, confirmed the incident.

It read, “With utmost sorrow, we announce the sad demise of our CEO, Mr. Bolaji Rosiji, who died in Lagos on Sunday, December 5, 2021 after a brief illness. Until his death, Rosiji was the Founder of Gaurapad

Charities founded in 2004, ex-PMAN President and the former Secretary-General of the Nigeria Network of NGOs.” 

The statement added that burial arrangements for the deceased would be announced soon.

Rosiji served as PMAN President for two years and helped introduce a lot of new innovations during his time as head of the musicians’ organisation.
