Trevor Lawrence connects on huge TD for Jacksonville Jaguars against Indianapolis Colts

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence turned a potentially really bad play into a really good one — helped by the fact that he’s 6-foot-6.

On third-and-goal from the 3-yard line, Lawrence had to one-hand a high snap from center Tyler Shatley, and when he tipped it to himself with his right hand, he had to roll to the right to elude blitzing Colts safety Khari Willis.

Receiver Marvin Jones Jr. — who earlier in the game reached a $500,000 contract incentive after catching his 70th pass of the season — ran a route across the field and got a step on Indianapolis Colts cornerback Kenny Moore II.

Lawrence lofted a pass into the back of the end zone, and Jones went up and got it over Moore and got both feet down for the touchdown that gave the Jaguars a 23-3 lead — tying their season high for points.
