Buhari To Pay Condolence Visit To Zamfara Thursday

President Muhammadu Buhari will pay an official visit to Zamfara State on Thursday.
Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle revealed this in an emergency meeting with all political delegates at the Government House Council Chamber on Tuesday night.





According to the Matawalle, the primary purpose of the President’s visit is to express sympathy and condole with his administration over the recent terrorist attacks in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas where many people were killed.
Matawalle said, “All is set to ensure the president is received successfully.
“I want to inform all the good people of Zamfara State that the Commander in Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria will come to Zamfara on Thursday specifically for a condolence visit over the recent bandits’ attacks in Anka and Bukkuyum Local Government Areas of the state.”
The governor urged the entire people of the state to remain law-abiding during the President’s visit.
Buhari’s has been visiting state governors in the last two Thursdays as he visited Ogun and Kaduna states on January 13 and 20 respectively.
However, the last two visits were centered on commissioning projects completed by the state governments.
