Poultry Farm Guard, Two Daughters, One-month-old Son Found Dead, Wife Unconscious In Abuja

Four members of a family have been found dead at a poultry farm in the Abaji Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.

The farm is on Anguwar Street in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.

According to City News, the deceased persons are a security guard at the poultry identified as Dominic Peter Adegeze, his daughters, Victoria and Judith, and his one-month-old son, Peter, were found dead.

Adegeze’s wife, Laraba, was taken to the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH), Gwagwalada, unconscious.

A worker at the poultry, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the incident happened on Thursday morning, explaining that another worker who went to feed some cattle inside the poultry farm scaled the fence when he found the gate locked.

That was when he found the guard and his family members gasping for breath and foaming at the mouth.

The spokesperson for the FCT police command, DSP Adeh Josephine, confirmed the incident, saying the police had commenced an investigation.
