Gunmen suspected to be bandits invaded the Gambar Sabon Layi community in the Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State and killed five people. The gunmen stormed the community on Saturday night, January 21, 2023, and shot sporadically into the air to scare residents away before carrying out their nefarious act. A resident said that the gunmen kidnapped one Mr Daniel and killed the hamlet head of the area and four others.
