Emefiele’s arraignment stalled as court fails to list case

The arraignment of suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Godwin Emefiele, over an alleged procurement fraud to the tune of N6.9 billion, was on Wednesday, August 23, stalled as the court failed to list the case.  The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court in Abuja where Emefiele was expected to be arraigned, did not give any reason for failing to list the case.  Channels Television also reported that lawyers to parties involved in the case were absent.   The post Emefieles arraignment stalled as court fails to list case appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
