The Deputy Governor of Taraba State, Alhaji Aminu Alkali, has returned to the state capital, Jalingo, after an absence of nearly four months due to health-related issues.
Alkali, who was flown out of the country for intensive medical treatment, arrived at the Danbaba Suntai Airport in Jalingo at about 1:40 p.m. on Sunday, May 4, aboard a chartered aircraft. His return, however, occurred without official notice or media presence.
It was gathered that the deputy governor was first flown to Abuja for treatment over an undisclosed illness before being transferred to Egypt for further medical attention.
