Nollywood actor, Gideon Okeke, has taken to social media to compare the motives behind Igbo and Yoruba parents giving their children their names.
In his post, Okeke opined that Yoruba parents name their children based on hopes for the future of that child while the Igbos usually names their children due to pain, experience or turmoil the parents or family have endured before the arrival of that child.
