Isuochi Gripped by Fear as Kidnappers Strike, Leaving One Dead

Panic has engulfed Isuochi in Abia State following a deadly kidnapping attack along the Ugwuodo axis of the Amuda–Umuaku road. Armed kidnappers unleashed heavy gunfire, killing one person, identified as “Daddy Cool,” and leaving another victim critically injured and fighting for their life.

According to Daily Observer, it was revealed that an eyewitnesses reported that the assailants struck with intense firepower, sowing fear among residents.

The attack marks a resurgence of kidnapping operations in the region, heightening concerns over the escalating insecurity.

The brutal incident has sparked urgent calls for enhanced security measures to address the growing threat and restore safety in Isuochi.
