Coronavirus: Ogun state government quarantines 28 persons who had contact with Italian patient

The Ogun State governor, Dapo Abiosun, says the state government has quarantined 28 persons identified to have come in contact with the Italian man diagnosed with Coronavirus in Lagos.

Speaking at a press conference this evening, the governor said the Italian man visited the state for a consulting job at a cement factory in Ewekoro community. He said as part of measures to curtail the spread of the virus, the cement factory has also been sealed.

The governor added that two of the cement factory’s guest houses have been turned into isolation centres where those identified to have made contacts with the Italian man are being examined.
