‘Stop shaking hands unnecessarily’ – President Yoweri Museveni tells Ugandans as he addresses coronavirus outbreak


President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda has asked his citizens to stop shaking hands unnecessarily as part of the precautionary measures to help prevent the spread of coronavirus. 

The 75-year-old made the statement while addressing the people of Uganda about the deadly coronavirus outbreak on Saturday. 

In a series of tweets, President Museveni urged his people to take extra caution to help prevent the spread of coronavirus as he noted that ‘coronavirus doesn’t kill as much and fast like Ebola, but spreads at a very terrific rate.’
