Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his wife, Joke and other members of his family, have tested negative for Coronavirus.
The governor announced the good news on Twitter on Friday morning.
As a responsible leader, it was important that I get tested for #COVID19 to ensure nothing distracts me from my role of leading Lagos during this period. I am happy to announce that my result has returned NEGATIVE. My family and aides are negative as well. ” he tweeted
With 98 recorded cases, Lagos leads with the highest confirmed cases of the viral disease in Nigeria.
