Source: 49ers shut facility after COVID-19 results

The San Francisco 49ers have shut down their facility due to COVID-19 test results, a source tells ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The 49ers were conducting contact tracing Wednesday morning, the source told Schefter.

There was no official word from either the Niners or the NFL regarding the status of Thursday night’s game in San Francisco against the Green Bay Packers.

The Packers will be without running back AJ Dillion, who tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday, while running back Jamaal Williams and linebacker Kamal Martin will miss the game after being deemed “high-risk close contacts” of Dillon.
