"I survived a terrible accident & nobody came to celebrate my life" Yul Edochie condemns the attitude of only celebrating people when they are dead

Yul Edochie took to Twitter and Instagram to condemn the attitude of waiting until a person is dead to celebrate them.

The actor, who survived a car crash months ago, tweeted: “I survived a terrible accident & nobody came to celebrate my life. If I had died many asoebi groups would turn up to celebrate my life, fake love everywhere, someone will even choose to buy a 10million naira casket to bury me. We must change the way we reason as a people.”

He added on Instagram:

Celebrate people when they are alive.
Whatever you do for them when they are dead is an absolute waste.
Glorify people’s successes, not their failures.
Let us love more.
