The reality of being a decent christian lady, who wants to have a honourable marriage and home, is that an equally decent man of her choice may never show up, ever! It’s not an easy pill to swallow, but embracing the prospect of such a reality, no matter how painful and disappointing, can also be liberating in other fulfilling and satisfying ways. Getting married, and having a home, is not as connected to a lady’s character as we would like to think. So many other factors are involved. No one can guarantee for sure whether a woman will find a spouse or not, and it’s not always about her character. Either way, ladies, what is most important is to strive to be the best version of one’s self that one can ever be, whether there is a husband or not.
