Femi Fani-Kayode this evening took to his Twitter handle to drag Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, over a statement he made recently about the ”reduction” of terrorism in Nigeria.

Adesina in an interview with Channels TV on Sunday January 26th, said the spate of attacks by Boko Haram has dropped and that Nigerians should be thankful that bombing has reduced drastically in the Buhari administration.

He said, “It is not as bad as you make it seem …because we know what the situation was as of 2015 and we know what it is today despite the reversals in security, it is still not as bad as it used to be in this country

“Yes, there was a bomb or two today (Sunday). There was a time that there were five, six, 10 bombings in a day in this country.”

He said Nigerians ought to be thankful for the job being done by the government.”

Reacting to Adesina’s statement, FFK said the presidential spokesperson is a ”desperate and insensitive clown who is simply trying to hang on to his job.”
