American football team, Kansas City Chiefs have been crowned Super Bowl champions for 2020.
The Kansas City produced an epic comeback as they overcame a 10-point deficit to stun the San Francisco 49ers 31-20, ending their 50-years wait to claim the title at Sat Super Bowl LIV which held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami on Sunday.
“We never lost faith,” Mahomes said after the game. “That’s the biggest thing. Everybody on this team, no one had their head down. And we believed in each other. And that’s what we preached all year long and we had this guy [head coach Andy Reid] right here to get us there.”
After being trailed 20-10 at the end of the third quarter, the Chiefs came back in the fourth quarter to beat the 49ers 31-20.
Mahomes, who was named MVP, finished the game completing 26 of 42 passes, 286 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions good for a quarterback rating of 78.1.
During the Super Bowl LIV between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, American singer, Jennifer Lopez and Colombian singer Shakira teamed up for a mind-blowing performance. Demi Lovato, Yolanda Adams, Megan Thee Stallion, Lizzo, Harry Styles and Meek Mill also performed at the game.
The star-studded game were attended by Paul McCartney, Paul Rudd, Kevin Hart, Jay-Z and many other celebrities.
