The Coronavirus patient who fled from the Isolation center in Taraba state has been nabbed and returned to the facility.
Taraba state’s Commissioner for Health and Chairman of the State’s COVID-19 technical committee, Dr Innocent Vakkai made the announcement on Monday May 4.
The Commissioner debunked claims of schools and worship centres reopening, as he also disclosed that contact tracing has commenced to curtail the spread of the virus in the state.
He said;
”Our schools and worship centres remain closed while members of the public are urged to observe all precautionary measures outlined for safety during the two day window allowed for movement in the state.”
Vakkai averred that the state which currently 8 confirmed cases of Coronavirus would not accommodate Almajiris who have not been tested by officials of the state they are sent from.
