Social distancing is a practical impossibility in most urban areas in Nigeria- Kogi state governor, Yahaya Bello (video)

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi state says the social distancing policy being canvassed by the Presidential taskforce and the NCDC as part of measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus, is a ”practical impossibility” in most urban areas in Nigeria.

Kogi and Cross Rivers are the only states with no confirmed cases of COVID19.

Speaking at a press conference this evening, Governor Bello said

”The NCDC must have noticed by now, social distancing is a practical impossibility in most urban areas in Nigeria including Kogi state. Many homes are multi-tenanted and many share same or one unitilies.”
