Kebbi state discharges its index case of COVID-19

Kebbi State has discharged its index COVID-19 case. 

Chairman of the Task Force on COVID-19, Jafar Mohammed, who disclosed this to newsmen this morning, said the index case was admitted into the hospital for treatment of the COVID-19 disease and was discharged on Tuesday May 12, after testing negative twice for the virus.

The state currently has 24 confirmed cases of the viral disease.
