A Nigerian writer and Marketing/Communication strategist, Ozzy Etomi has narrated how a driver in her former place of work with 80% expatriate workers, once told her that he was not hired to drive Nigerians.
According to Etomi, she was going for a meeting and wanted to use a pool car but the driver said he wasn’t hired to drive “you people” as in the Nigerian staff.
“Haha i remember when I worked at a company that was like 80% expats at the time, and I was going for a meeting and wanted to use a pool car, and the driver said to me “they didn’t hire me to drive ‘you people oh'” as per the Nigerians lmao.” she tweeted.
