Covid: Emotional reunions as Australia’s border reopens

Australia’s border has reopened for the first time in 20 months, sparking emotional reunions at Sydney Airport.

Only vaccinated Australian citizens are allowed into the country for now.

The rules have also changed to allow vaccinated Australian citizens to travel internationally without having to apply for an exemption to leave the country.
