Police arrest notorious drug dealer in Jigawa

Jigawa Police Command has arrested a suspected drug dealer and recovered 265 wraps of substance suspected to be marijuana. Spokesperson of the command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, who disclosed this in a statement on Tuesday, July 19, said the suspect was arrested on his way to criminal hideouts and black spots. "On 18/07/2022 at about 2030hrs, Police Squad attached to Auyo Division led by insp Rayyanu Ashahabu while acting on intelligence, intercepted one notorious drug dealer in Auyo town," he stated. "During the raid, two hundred and sixty five (265) rubs of dried leaves suspected to be Indian Hemp, eighty nine (89) pieces of intoxicated D5_ Diazepam drugs, sixty two BZ drugs, twelve (12) Rizlar papers and one scissor were found from him as an exhibits. "In the course of investigation, the suspect made a confessional statement that he obtained same from his co-supplier, one Sule Mai Kunne 'm' of Adaha Village Auyo LGA, now at large. "Effort is on top gear to trail his accomplices.
