Chrissy Teigen‘s latest cosmetic procedure is literally a cut above the rest.
The 39-year-old has unveiled the initial results of recent plastic surgery she underwent to lower her hairline, one day after sparking speculation she had gone under the knife again by livestreaming herself while lying on a hospital bed, wearing a post-surgical chin wrap.
“Hi friends! At lot of you wondering about my hospital pic which is very understandable as I gave no explanation lol,” Chrissy wrote on her Instagram Stories May 23. “I had a hairline lowering procedure.”
“Lost a lot in the front from babies and it’s just very thin up there,” the Cravings cookbook author —who shares kids Luna, 9, Miles, 7, Esti, 2, and Wren, 23 months, with husband John Legend—explained. “When you see it on a carpet it’s ALWAYS extensions.”
Including a photo of her new hairline, which now bears several sutures, Chrissy added, “Anyhow I’ll share more later if you’re interested in the journey because it really is a journey lol.”
