I naively went to join masquerade group in the village over fourteen years ago. For me, it was no big deal, until recently. I had even completely forgot I joined such a thing as a teenager, because it didn’t involve any big ceremony. Just a couple of years ago, I noticed there was just some kind of rejection around my ‘former self,’ until one day I had a dream, where I saw my ‘former self’ wearing/carrying that masquerade and people were running from the masquerade. Immediately I woke up, no one told me I had to pray seriously to break that covenant. I got into serious Mfm prayers and things are completely better for me I am a very happy person now. Accepting Jesus Christ is very key, if you are in a similar situation. I know some people would want to talk about our culture, which I understand, but this is my own testimony. If you are in a situation you think everything is working against you or choking you; then you need Jesus to set you free. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery(Galatians 5:1)
