A Nigerian lawyer has warned others to be careful while sharing her experience with a kidnapper posing as a dispatch rider.
Ifeoma Malo took to Facebook to issue the warning.
She wrote: “Persistent morning call by someone who says he is a dispatcher sent with a delivery for me. A few persistent questions showed he was a kidnapper.”
She added: “Said he was from GIG
Knew me as aunty IFEOMA
Was asking for directions to my house.
Could not say who delivery is from.
Said he was in front of my estate.
Asked for access code.
“When pushed for the name of my estate, stammered and said something incomprehensible
“Says he is just a delivery person from GIG so has no idea who he is delivering for.
“Also when I asked what city my estate was in, he said Ikoyi.
“He was just fishing for an address.
“I hung up and he then sent an sms saying I am lucky and and wise.
“I have blocked but will report formally on Monday.
“His number is 07044816***.”
