Update: Seven-year-old girl kidnapped from her mother’s shop in Ogun has been found

Seven-year-old Mercy Akande who was kidnapped by a male customer at her mother’s Point of Sale terminal (PoS) terminal in the Sango Ota area of Ogun State on Monday, December 23, has been found.   The Ogun state police command gave the good news on its X handle on Sunday night, December 29. The command also disclosed that all suspects involved in the abduction of the little girl have been arrested. LIB had earlier reported that an X user who shared the news online said the male suspect who is the mothers regular customer, visited the shop, bought food for the seven-year-old girl, and later sent her on an errand to buy a sachet of water. As the girl was returning from the errand, the customer left the shop and approached her midway in an attempt to collect the water sachet. The girl’s mother saw both of them at that moment but was briefly distracted by the attention of other customers. When the mother returned her attention to the spot where she saw her daughter and the customer, both of them were nowhere to be found. The mother immediately launched a search for her daughter but did not find her. They called the male customers phone but he did not respond until his line was no longer reachable. The post Update: Seven-year-old girl kidnapped from her mothers shop in Ogun has been found appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
