Our condescending tone towards other African countries might add to why they don’t like us- former political appointee, Abiola Rinsola says

As Nigerians continue to express anger towards the arrest and arraignment of singers Omah Lay and Tems in Uganda, Abiola Rinsola, the former media aide to former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, is of the opinion that the condescending tone of Nigerians towards other African countries might add to why they do not like Nigerians.

Some Nigerians have attributed the arrest and arraignment of Omah and Tems to the dislike some African countries have for Nigerians

In an apparent reaction to this assumption, Rinsola tweeted

”Our condescending tone towards other African countries might add to why they don’t like us, though. Diplomacy is key, and the more you talk about how insulting it is that certain countries would dare to do certain things, the more they feel they have a point to prove.”
